Whatever you are today, you are because you decided to be that way. We all see success in different ways. For example, I love to mow my lawn. Would it be a success to mow it once? Some would say yes. Or, is it a success to mow it every week and throw the grass wherever it goes? Or, is it a success to mow it to look like a professional baseball field? For me, I choose the baseball field. I feel great satisfaction seeing my lawn look great. Or another example would be losing weight. Would you be successful if you wanted to lose 15 lbs and then gain it all back plus 5 lbs? Or, would it be a success to lose the weight and maintain your new weight? Success is all in the eye of the beholder. It also comes down to your standards and action. We can all be more successful if we choose to be. Why sell yourself short and settle for mediocrity when you can have greatness.

Speaking from experience, if you don't set goals and choose to live a better life, you will suffer greatly. Unfortunately, we are seeing it right now with government workers around the country who never saved a dime for a rainy day. They never prepared for the time they wouldn't have a pay check and they are hurting because of their poor money management goals. It may not be easy for you to save money but everyone should find a way to save for a rainy day. Preparation, discipline, action and desire are key to a successful plan. Choose to live a better life right now and take the necessary steps to have success in all parts of your life.
