Live Frugal

Picture
Winners,

I have been known for my frugal ways. Since I had my first full time job at 12, I saved every dime and only spent my tip money. Back in those days, that wasn't much. Learning how to save does take practice. You have to learn to say no to habits like Starbucks, eating out for lunch or even going out to the bar for drinks. If you set a goal to save money for a rainy day, you have to give up some things. There's nothing wrong with brown bagging it. I still eat cheaply, mow my own lawn, blow out my long driveway, etc. If you're reading this, try to live within your means. If you try hard enough, you can save money for a rainy day.

Another good habit to get into, is to live life as if there is no one that will save you from financial disaster. If you are counting on a parent, cousin, rich uncle or the government to save the day, you may get disappointed at some point. Take full responsibility for your own financial freedom and live as if there is no one that will save the day.

Get creative or resourceful if you have to and work extra hours or even a part time job to save for the future. Whatever you make in the extra job must be saved and not spent.

There are many creative ways to save money but it takes Action!!! Who knows, it may come down to you giving up a bad habit like smoking. In the end, your bank account will look better and your heart and lungs will love you for it.

Have a Spectacular and Grateful Day!!!
